Terms of Service

Version 2026-07-13 · Last updated: 2026-07-13

1. Introductory Provisions

The Operator of the Postbot service is IamLadi s.r.o., with its registered seat at č.p. 332, 739 45 Fryčovice, Czech Company ID (IČO): 09877169, VAT ID (DIČ): CZ09877169, registered in the Commercial Register kept by the Regional Court in Ostrava, Section C, Insert 84636 (the "Operator").

Postbot renders a document submitted by the customer into a letter, prints it, and hands it to Česká pošta for delivery as a physical letter.

These Terms of Service ("Terms"), version 2026-07-13 effective from 2026-07-13, govern the relationship between the Operator and the customer for ordering and providing the Postbot service via the web interface, the API, and the MCP interface (together, the "channels").

Using the API or MCP interface with an issued API key constitutes acceptance of the Terms then in effect.

2. Definitions

3. Contract Formation

An order can be placed via the web form, paying per Letter or drawing on prepaid credit, or via the API or MCP interface.

The contract between the Operator and the customer is formed on payment (for a one-off payment) or on sending the Letter (when drawing on prepaid credit).

The customer confirms the accuracy and completeness of the data it submits, in particular the recipient's address and the Letter's content.

The Operator may refuse content that is unlawful or that the Carrier is not permitted to transport.

4. Price and Payment

The price is quoted to the customer before payment as a firm offer covering printing and postage for the selected Service.

Payment can be made by card via Stripe or by drawing on prepaid credit held on the customer's account.

Prices include value added tax where applicable — the Operator is a VAT payer.

5. Performance and Handover

The Operator's obligations are fulfilled by: (a) correctly rendering the submitted document, (b) correctly transcribing the address as supplied by the customer, and (c) Handover of the Letter to the Carrier.

Delivery itself is performed by the Carrier under its postal terms in force at the time of posting — see the Česká pošta postal terms and the Basic Postal Services conditions (PDF).

The Carrier states delivery times only as an estimate ("zpravidla" / typically); the Operator gives no delivery-time guarantee, and any dates shown are estimates only.

6. Liability

The Operator is liable only for its own scope of performance — rendering, address-transcription, or Handover errors — capped at the price paid for the affected order. The remedy is re-sending the Letter or a refund.

After Handover, loss, damage, or partial loss of the Letter's contents is governed exclusively by the Carrier's terms: for ordinary mail the Carrier bears no liability (Art. 11(2) of the postal terms); for registered mail the Carrier compensates loss at a flat amount equal to 20 times the base price of that Service's lowest weight tier, under its currently applicable postal terms. This is the Carrier's own rule in force at the time of posting, not an undertaking of the Operator.

Neither the Operator nor the Carrier is liable for damage caused by an incorrect or incomplete address supplied by the customer, force majeure, or external circumstances they could not influence or prevent. The Operator is further not liable for content that may not lawfully be sent by post.

7. Complaints

How a complaint is handled depends on what it concerns — the Operator's own performance, or delivery by the Carrier.

Defects in the Operator's own performance (incorrect rendering, incorrect address transcription, or a failed Handover) can be reported to ladi@amentistudio.com. The Operator resolves such complaints within 30 days.

Claims concerning loss, damage, or delay of the Letter after Handover (a Carrier claim) are filed by the Operator, as the Carrier's customer (sender), on the customer's request; the customer provides the necessary cooperation. The Carrier accepts claims within 1 year of posting; damage must be reported at delivery or within 2 working days after; the Carrier resolves claims within 30 days; escalation is available to the Czech Telecommunication Office. Any compensation paid by the Carrier is passed on to the customer in full.

Consumer disputes with the Operator can be resolved out of court by the Czech Trade Inspection Authority.

8. Withdrawal

Send a withdrawal notice to ladi@amentistudio.com, quoting your order reference.

Model withdrawal form — addressee: IamLadi s.r.o., č.p. 332, 739 45 Fryčovice, ladi@amentistudio.com. "I hereby give notice that I withdraw from the contract for the provision of service — order number, date ordered, name, address, signature (only for the paper form), date."

9. Personal Data

Processing of personal data in connection with the Postbot service is described in the Privacy Policy.
